First Service in New Church
St. John's church on Tick Ridge, which was destroyed by lightning last summer, has been rebuilt and is one of the prettiest places of worship in the county.  The first mass therein will be celebrated by Rev. Father Thomas Cory on March 1st.

Owing to bad roads and weather, the dedication will not take place until in the spring.
