Alyssa Coriell was elected last year and served as Vice-President of the 2019 Senior OMUN program.
Eighteen students were chosen as Outstanding Delegates, and Minford Freshman, Junie Allen was one of the them.
Forty-five students were chosen for the Outstanding Leadership Award, including Minford Junior, Sarah Lewis.
The country of Afghanistan was represented by Sarah Lewis, Livie Amato, Jasmine Johnson, Scout Monroe, Tate Walker, Levi Warren, Ben Adkins, and Sawyer Grashel.
The country of Madagascar was represented by Livi Shonkwiler, Micah Thacker, Luke Rader, Annie Lawson, Katie Rice, Addy Akers, Jenna Bobst, and Emma Fleenor.
The country of Tuvalu was represented by Nevaeh Porter, Autumn Picklesiemer, Junie Allen, Paige Martin , Mychal Cron, and Haley Knore.
These students spent time before the program writing a resolution to present at the the program. They spent two days debating 186 resolutions, participated in several essay contests. In addition, they participated in the International Summit, the International Dance and Celebration.
Minford had a total of 23 students that participated and represented minford with pride, intelligence, and passion. We are very proud of our kids. Go Falcons!
