Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday for Howard Colegrove, 68, Richwood, who died Tuesday evening at his residence.
He was born on March 30, 1910 to Frank and Nettie (Craig) Colegrove in Scioto County. He married the former Elnora Parks in 1934.
A retired employee of the Marion Power Shovel Co., he also had taught school in Scioto County. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Chapter 303 F & A M, the Mt. Carmel Chapter 42 OES, the North Star K of P Lodge and the Marion Power Shovel 25-Year Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Larry of Anchorage, Alaska and Donald of Cincinnati; daughters Miss Janet Colegrove, Richwood and Mrs. David (Rosemary) Cox, North Madison, nine grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Edith Turner of New Boston.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood.
The Rev. Julius Chandler will officiate the funeral service at Memorial Park Chapel, Wheelersburg, with burial following in Memorial Burial Park Cemetery.
