Ed Hall Quits Coaching For Post as Principal

Ed Hall, former basketball coach at Minford High School, has been elevated to an administrative position in the school system.

Hall, who has guided the Falcons to an outstanding 195 - 61 record during his nine years at the helm of the Minford quintet, has been named supervising principal of Minford's three outlying grade schools.

Jim Scott, the assistant cage coach for the last six years, will take over the head basketball position at Minford.

Hall, who has one of the outstanding coaching records in Ohio, guided Minford to five straight championships while the school was in Class B.  Minford has been Class A for the last four years.

During Hall's reign the Falcons either won or shared in six Southern Ohio Conference championships during the nine years.

He is married and has one child.
