Ellora Schuler Kent
November 17, 1928 - July 4, 2018

ELLORA S. KENT, 89, of Huntington, passed away July 4, 2018, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington.

She was born November 17, 1928, in Minford, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Cunningham Schuler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Kent; a sister, Alice Gampp; and a brother, Harry Schuler.

She is survived by her three children, David Kent (Karen) of Spring Hill, Tenn., Sue Kent of Chelmsford, Mass., and Paul Kent (Kimberly) of South Point, Ohio; three grandchildren, Amy Beth Kent of West Palm Beach, Fla., Melissa Lasater (Seth) of Columbia, Tenn., and Justin Kent of Richmond, Va.; three great-grandsons of Columbia, Tenn.; two brothers, Thomas Schuler of Monroe, Ohio, and Charles Schuler of Oxford, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Paul Kent of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter-in-law and loving caregiver, Kimberly Kent of Huntington; and many nieces and nephews (whom each believed they were her favorite).

For over 20 years, Ellora was active in Madison Avenue Christian Church where she had many good friends who were a source of great comfort and support during her recent illness.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, 1 p.m., at Madison Avenue Christian Church in Huntington. Visitation will be held at the church on the same day, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
