Jerry C. Beasley, 78, passed away at his home in Norwalk, Calif., May 13, of congestive heart disease.

He is survived by his adopted mother, Virginia Ratliffe of Greenup, Ky.

 

He was born in New Boston, Ohio, and was the last child born to Delbert and Ruth Hale.

 

He was a graduate of Minford (Ohio) High School. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of his local American Legion.

He also is survived by sons, David, Randy and Jerry Jr., all of Southern California; and a sister, Ruby Hale La Placa of Hollywood, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dean, and daughter, Myra Garcia.

His funeral will be held May 20 at The Assembly of God church in Norwalk, Calif. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.
