Minford School Staff Rehired
Creighton Hutchinson Employed By Board to Take School Enumeration

The enitre faculty of the Minford High school was reelected for the school year 1932 - 1933.

The reelected faculty and the teaching assignment for the present school year follows:

Pearley Gaskill, principal, mathematics and science; Harry L. Bitzer, coaching, history and social studies; E. L. Koehler, manual training and physics; Mrs. Evelyn Koehler, home economics I, English; Miss Clara E. Poston, English and American history; Miss Agnes Caumer, English and Latin; Miss Julia Myrtle Wood, general science; home economics II and physiology; Thomas Giles, music (half time).

Mr. Bitzer demonstrated his coaching ability by giving the Minford community the unusual experience of a double-header championship in basketball.

The faculty members have much ability and teaching skill in their respective fields.  Several members of the faculty are planning to do graduate work in various universites this summer.

 The bond of Clerk Ben Wright was presented and approved.  A motion to defer the hiring of teachers was defeated.  The board then reemployed the present high school faculty.

Creighton Hutchinson was employed to take the school enumeration as required by law.

The board adopted a motion which requires all teachers to report the list of puplis enrolled in each school with age, grade to which the pupil is assigned for the coming year and other data from the teacher's register form.

The closing of the high school without the added two weeks of donated service offered by the high school faculty was urged by Supt. E. O. McCowen.  Some matters in this connection were left for decision at the next meeting of the board.

Mr. McCowen reported that seats and other promised equipment for the high school had been approved by him and also by the director.
