Minford School Head is Retained
School Board Announces Staff for New Year

The board of education of the Minford school district reappointed V. Leland Gililand as superintendent of the Minford schools.  Mr. Gilliland has served as head of the Minford schools for the last three years.  Before coming to Scioto county, Mr. Gilliland taught in the schools of Jackson county.

High school teachers employed follow:  Agnes Gaumer, F> W. Adrian, Pearl G. Smith, Edwin Duncan, GalenBesco, Frank L. Pierson, Paul Hamer, Mr. Keller, Levi Elliott.

Jessie Coriell was employed as half-time music teacher.

Grade teachers employed were Jacob Frowine, Katherine Rase, Bryce Jacobs, Charles Brown, Carlos Walker, Roberta Wilsn, Arthur Yeagle, Bernard Bennett, Edna coriell, Launa Parks, George Shope, Estell Coriell, Dorothy Poole, Charles Coles, Elizabeth Elliott.

The Minford schools will operate on the six-six plan next year.  The board recently voted to adopt this plan of organization since their new bilding was designed to work in with this type of organization.

The new school building which is nearing completion will be one of the finest and most complete school bilding in southern Ohio.
