Wilma Leora Noel Meyers
July 30, 1929 - July 22, 2017

Age 87 of Portsmouth passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.

She was born July 30, 1929 in Portsmouth to Forrest and Lilly (Brannon) Noel. Wilma graduated as a member of the Minford High School Class of 1947. She married Lewis Henry Meyers in 1951 and was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking. She enjoyed traveling and parties with her Tupperware friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wilma is survived by her sons, Frank (Anita) Meyers of Columbus, Jim (Anna) Meyers of Portsmouth; daughters, Debra (Jim) Spangenberg of Lucasville, Mary (Eric) Schulze of Phoenix, AZ, Vicki (Jon) Waugh of New Albany, Dorothy (George) Grieve of Aiken, SC, Angie (Rob) Litten of Chillicothe; brother, Richard (Freda) Noel of Portsmouth; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, in 1979; granddaughter, Jennifer Meyers; sister, June Pertuset; brother, Bob Noel.

The family would like to give a special thank you to SOMC Hospice, Vi and Mary Lois for all the loving care they gave to our mother.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Don Noel officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.

Friends may call from 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 and one hour before the service on Wednesday
