At Minford Middle School, it is our mission to provide a safe, accepting, and nurturing environment to meet the personal, social, and academic needs of each and every student. We strive to provide support and guidance for all students, to help them reach their full potential.
Services provided in the school counseling office include, but are not limited to:
- Short term crisis and grief counseling
- Classroom guidance
- Conflict resolution
- Behavioral intervention
- Counseling at-risk students
- Prevention counseling for issues such as peer pressure, violence and bullying
- Life skills and character building activities
- Community involvement
- Scheduling
- Student registration
- Testing coordination
At Minford Middle School, our motto is, “I’m worth it!” Our goal is for each and every student to know their value and to feel accepted. Students are welcome to stop by my office any time they need to talk or have an issue to discuss. Parents can call 740-820-2182 to speak with me or to set up an appointment.
