The MMS Spelling Bee will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025.

It will take place in the MMS Library.

7th - 8th grade will start at 8 a.m.

4th - 6th will start approximately 9 a.m. (immediately following the junior high bee)

The snow/weather makeup date is on Friday, January 31.

With the change of the new quarter, we have new eighth grade life skills students- busy at their Thursday Community Service opportunities at Minford Schools.

What:  Little Miss Minford Sweatheart

When:  Monday, February 3, 2025

Where:  Minford Middle School Gym

Time:  After the 7th Grade Girls Basketball game which begins at 5:30 p.m.

Event Details:

Who can participate:  Any girl in grades 4 - 8

Donation:  $25 or more to participate

Outfit:  Wear Minford spirit clothing or a dress

Recognition:  All participants will be introduced at the game and will walk to half court

Prizes:

Princess Winners:  One winner from each grade (4-8) will receive flowers and a tiara.

Overall Winner:  One Little Miss Minford Sweatheart will be crowned based upon the most money raised.  She will receive a sash, flowers, and a crown, all presented by the Minford High School Queens!

Important Information:

Money submission:  All donations must be turned in by the end of the school day on Thursday, January 30.  Please submit your donation to Jill McFadden in room 220 or to the Middle School Office.

Checks:  Make checks payable to MMS.  Please place all money and the form attached in an envelope when turning in.

Arrival:  Please be at the middle school gym by 6 p.m. on February 3rd, 2025.

We are excited to announce that we will be switching to Remind to send out all school and district communications in the near future.  This will replace the old system of dialing and sending automated calls.  This is mostly a Text Message only system, except for Emergency calls, it can call landline phones with an audio call.  We have many of our parents' cell phone numbers in our system, but not all.  We will be sending out test messages in the next few days.  If you did not receive the message, then we do not have your cell phone number as a primary number in our system.  You can visit our Remind portal to manually sign up for messages from a specific building or contact your school's office to update them with your latest cell phone number.  Here is the link to the Falcon Remind Portal
